The girls hair is killing me and reminds me of the way the sausages hang at delis. BUT it’s the one brother who seems extraordinarily happy for some strange reason and I’d really like to know why? Is it the shadow of JC on the back wall or the fact that he is happy with his marcel waves?

Okay, Jesus shadowing over them is absolutely killing me. To the point where I didn’t even notice the sausage Rabbi curls on the gal in front and the matching crochet table runner vests that the Shockley girls are wearing.
he boys look a lot more normal. The frog all the way to the left who you point out as being extraordinarily happy has an especially nice look between the big knot in his tie and his oversized rims. His Marcel waves are especially effective, suggesting complementary lake waves to his happy frog face.

It looks like Jesus is their musical/photo shoot director, and he just told an off color joke, so some of them don’t know whether to laugh or not.
The guy with the specs is obviously so stoned he can’t hide his response to the funny.

Mr Happy Spectacles is barely able to contain his rapture as the neighbor’s dog just gave him new instructions on who to kill next…The sister seated can confirm these instructions and has also accepted them….These people are terrifying.
The shadow of Jesus is fabulous…Like he made a point to show up just to defend himself with, “Hey, what’re ya gonna do!? We all have our mishaps when creating people, right guys?!?”
