Quintessentail Twist moves and a quintessential female Twist outfit. Nice elevator to the penthouse hair too. He needed a sharkskin suit to rise to her occasion.

My favorite part is the bow on the side of her hair. I love pics like this but the place has minimal decor except for the wall sconce lamps.

Oh wow, I’m speechless…you’re killing me!!! I would kill for this!!!!! Reminds me so much of my favorite grandfather too…He used to get up and dance in restaurants when a good song came on….even in the early 90’s when we had our last lunch together at Ships on La Cienega….Just loved that about him.and yes, he did the twist!

yeah, that’s a story in itself…i really miss him, not to mention Ships.it was his favorite haunt and the best place on earth to be :) can’t believe it’s gone…..breaks my heart!

And, of course, Ships is where the tradition of toasters sitting on restaurant tables started. And that incredible signage…
