I’ve seen lots of dancing dogs and cats but this is on a whole other level. I wish she were on Dancing With The Stars.

I know, right!? It’s amazing! I guess the do’s name is Carrie and she lives in Chile with her person….The internet search turned up a couple of cute videos of her at home and it looks like she actually enjoys running around on her back legs (was doing it at the park during play time!)..She may be the first documented link to the new human/dog hybrid of the future! I hope they are around when I”m still alive…bet they won’t have as many human hang ups!

I love that her “Dad” is so gentle and kind with her etc. Never a choke collar around her neck and practically never on a leash etc…..You can tell she’s loved and not treated some cash cow …..

I love this, but a couple things that strike me as cool:

She keeps her front legs down most of the time when she’s dancing. I can’t even keep my arms down when I’m standing or walking!

The other thing, and I think this is critical to your comment about thinking she might enjoy it-watch her tail wag as she parades around!

I love dancing with my dog Maggie!

Yeah, I’m convinced she’s a very happy and well loved dog and I’m pretty hyper about empathy for animals and their rights etc……Bet your dog loves dancing with you too! If you had written a comma before the word Maggie, you would have been addressing me directly, not speaking about your dog! :D

Maggie, I don’t need to tell you this, but it will never be a cliche: if we don’t speak for them, who will?

I saw this a few months ago, and like all of you, felt it transcended your average dancing animal act. There seems to be genuine joy in the dog’s dancing and not all of her movements are cued, so it looks like she’s memorized quite a bit of the choreography. And there is a real bond between the dog and her owner. Very sweet.
