A beautiful piece from Brandt’s of California. Pink gold and white. Handle is open ended and hollow. No chips or cracks to be found. Most likely from the 1950’s.

I love this because it looks handmade and manufactured at the same time. The finish is really wild. I have an oblong shaped bowl that has a similar finish except more turquoise based than pink. I have to dig it out and see if it is Brandt’s of California. Beautiful!
They do have that handmade look to them especially with the texture. I have a long ashtray with similiar colors from Lane and Co. Gold pink and cremes swirled. I think the pink pieces are my favorites. Although if you can dig up your turqouise piece I would love to see it.
I can’t think of where my turquoise piece would be offhand but I will surely keep my eyes open for it. I have a 2000 square-foot storage garage in addition to the 30+ years of accumulation I have here at Willis Wonderland, the physical arm of The Allee Willis Museum Of Kitsch. Needless to say, I’d love to see any of your pieces that you can dig up!
Oh boy to putter around in that storage garage! I do envy you!
