Beautiful old box of Christmas balls that I found at the dump. I love the name “Shiny Bright” and never knew that New Jersey was once the place where “american made” christmas balls were produced.
Uncle Sam and Santa? Huh?

The graphics on this box kill me. The colors are great, the fonts are great, but nothing is better than Uncle Sam shaking Santa’s hand and giving off that glowing Christmas vibe as depicted by the lines around them.
I absolutely love Christmas ball ornaments. I don’t care if they’re vintage or new, I always love them. I guess that’s because their design hasn’t ever changed and even the new ones always look old.

I think this box lid is on it’s way out to you.

This box and the ornaments were definitely in the arsenal of Christmas tree ornaments at our house. I’m pretty sure that the ornaments shown in the third picture were not the ones in the box. The ones in our box more closely resembled the pictures on the top of the box, i think they were wrapped in tissue paper also. I can remember the bell, the half ball on its left. The ball on the right of the bell had a frosted top. The one on its right reminded me of Jupiter with frosted rings. My mama still has all the ornaments though some of them have probably broken. These were the first my folks got after they got married or something like that and were handled with much care. Great find Denny.
