This is 14 x 11 and I really want to do more bigger ones but I am trying to secure a convenient way to mail them. Right now, this size is somewhat easy to pack up and mail.

Since starting this new hobby I use acrylic paints. I obviously use the feathering technique as you can see here but have quickly become a huge fan of gigantic features such as heads, hands etc. I could go on and on here but I think you know by now that painting is my new groove!

I love how he is pointing with his one foot.

He is lovely, I feel like he is giving his all in an audition, a’la A Chorus Line. I wonder if he’ll get the part?

    Thanks Nessa.

This one makes me laugh. Who would have thought that a mistake on my part (in the sketching process) would turn out to be a favorite of mine….

Well then, I sure have been fun making mistakes!

Wish me luck on my very first public outing of my paintings this Sunday here on Cape Cod!

oh man, I LOVE this painting!!! He is so dramatic and sincere!!!!!!!! A true ballet dancer, full of angst and I love his aptly pointed right toe…….Step down, Barishnikov, there’s a new pair of toe shoes in town!

Thanks Wind-up! This SOLD today at the local artist show I attended.

This is all so surreal for me…..

My Brother in-law. I just did a 2 part post “La Sirena Hair Lounge” that documents the day.

He bought “The Dancer” and “Mr Carrot” and I photographed him holding both of them!
