If I seem happy, it might be because I was bailing out of what I thought was a wasteland, and I got to throw away my draft card (oh, and they were changing the drinking age in Nebraska to 19 meaning as a college frosh I could drink legally.)
No natural fibers were harmed to manufacture the costume.

Love this shot!! I definitely would’ve had a crush on you.
I love your use of synthetic fibers.
My matching shot is in my post yesterday: https://www.alleewillis.com/awmok/kitschenette/2010/11/29/aallee-willis-kitsch-o-the-day-–-ambush-spray-cologne-and-my-high-school-photo/

This is so great.. How much did we all love Polyester…LOL
BRBill
Wasn’t polyester all that was available then due to the extinction or non use of real plant material to make fabrics out of? At least that’s what the salesperson told me when i went to buy a suit during that era….mine was light blue and i gave it to the Salvation Army only a few years ago during a house purge.

Do you have a photo of you in that blue suit? Perfect fashion for AWMOK.

I love seeing these old high school pics. They tell a story of who we were just before we entered the exciting world of adulthood.

Oh my god! How the hell did I miss this?! Oh Mark, did you tape your hair to get the perfect part?
This is amazing. I wish I had hair like that in my graduation picture.

Denny I can’t tell now if it’s my hair or a varmint of some type. Part? Hahaha
