Yma Sumac was a Peruvian singer, in the 1950’s, that had an amazing six octave range. She sang in concert, on TV and in a few movies. She starred in a Broadway show, Flahooley, which closed in a few performances. The music, however, became a cult classic.

Love Yma Sumac! How great that you still have the cover too. The colors are completely excellent, only superseded by that volcano exploding in back of her.
Do you know what the “Xtabay” was?
Also, is this a 10 inch or 12 inch? You say LP, which is 12 inches, but it almost looks a single sleeve and that’s only 7 inches. Fantastic one way or the other.

Xtabay was a female demon from the Yucatan.
The title says it’s a 10″. For some reason I often miss the info in the subject header as well. Not sure why.
