Okay, so he’s not quite as iconic as Teddy, Smokey, Yogi, Winnie the Pooh, the Budweiser Polar Bears, or the Hamm’s bear, but the “Sleepy Bear” mascot for TraveLodge was honored with this Jim Beam liquor decanter anyway.

I have never seen this bottle. This is really a treasure. How fantastic! And how bizarre for a whiskey bottle to feature a cute little sleepy bear. I never knew that Jim Beam hooked up with motels before. Though I do assume that much Jim Beam was consumed inside motels.
I love how flat the bottom of his paw is.
Is there still whiskey in the bottle?
