Thank God I have this little lady or I’d be so jealous I could die! There were actually a lot of them made. I think they came out for the first time in the mid-80s. I don’t have the box or directions though so this is a real score, especially if she works. It’s very hard to find one in working condition.

As far as the atomic fish glass goes that she’s holding this was a very popular set in the 1950s. I have many of them including milk, juice and shot glass sizes. It’s very hard to find these in good conditions as well as they can’t be put into the dishwasher, which most people do, and then the silver comes right off.

    Shake it up, baby!!

I beg of you. Please, just give me some food and lock me inside of your storage unit for the day and I’ll be good. Is your go-go girl in storage?

    I am smitten with her.

And as far as the glass, can you possibly go wrong with fish?

dude you’re in orbit with this one.

This is outrageous. I can just picture a bunch of bloated, bald, drunken guys in business suits mixing their cocktails with this Go-Go-Girl (who hasn’t even been given a name) and making lascivious comments. 1980’s seems too late for something this sexist, and sure enough, there’s a 1969 copyright on the instructions which feels appropriate.

She started appearing in a lot of stores that sold kitschy artifacts in the 80s. That’s when I got my first one. Someone must’ve been selling overstocks. I’ve had two along the way but never in the box with instructions so I never saw the date. 69 is very appropriate.

I don’t own one Troy but I wish I did! They sell on Ebay for about $30.00. I am sooooo tempted.
