
It was 1970, and our group boarded a bus from NYC to Washington D.C. to protest the war, racisism and oppression. Almost 40 years later the same issues exist, just different faces. All I have left of that day are these two buttons, a contact sheet from a roll of B&W pictures, and fading memories.

Though it’s not fun kitsch, would you like to see a few photos from this day in history? I’ll have to dig them out. The protest signs, the faces, the crowds are still in my minds’ eye.
