When 25 cents went a long way…

There was a time when 25 cents could give a player 10 minutes of play time on a real pinball machine. Waiting to be restored, this was not in working order. Love the old time machines and graphics. No neon, just flashing lights and bongs.

I love pinball machines with these clean-cut mid 60s to mid 70s Hullabaloo-meets-The-Brady-Bunch graphics. These kind of games were so innocent back in the day. The sound of the ball against the little posts and the bonk sounds were quite enough thrill for me, even without lights.

I love that arrows are pointing out the flipper buttons.

I would love a real pinball machine in my lounge. The hours I spent on them at College when I should have been studying!

    This is terrific!
There were always two pin ball machines in the local bowling alley where I grew up. On Saturday mornings they had kid’s league bowling, and I hated bowling, so sometimes I’d just hang out and play pin ball when I had a few quarters.
I can still hear the *KLOP* they made when I’d score another free game, and can remember the rush of knowing I wouldn’t have to spend another two bits.
