These are some of my favorite shots taken while inside of “Willis Wonderland”, looking out into a field of kitsch.
Taken downstairs in my favorite room.
This was taken looking out of the door.
It was a hot day.

My yard is my favorite place to sit in the house. It’s decorated with lots of things that most people only use indoors, like ceramics, none of which ages outside and lamps that I convert to be outdoor fixtures. I very much consider my yard a living room. There aree tons of windows in the house so I always get to look at it and where there were no windows there are now portholes.

And I thank you for sharing it with me. I consider your yard one of my “happy places”.

Beautiful post Denny…
Allee I love your beautiful mid-century modern oasis…
Are your fabulous white chaise lounge chairs fiberglass?
Picture #5 are those hula lamps??
Somebody does a great job on all those sparkling clean windows and portholes….smile

The white chaise lounge chairs visible in the photo are made out of wrought iron but I do have some fantastic chairs and lounges made out of fiberglass too.
The lamps in photo number five are Nubian slaves (or so I’ve been told). Here’s a really clear shot of them: https://www.alleewillis.com/blog/2009/04/03/allee-willis-kitsch-o-the-day-six-pack-abs-on-a-lamp/
Yes, I have the cleanest windows in town. I’m obsessed with clean windows.
