I found this odd little guy at a dark and dusty antique shop in Savannah, Ga. I was drawn to him because he looks like an old friend of mine. Even his stance and clothing remind me of my friend. The price was $7.00.

The statue looks new but the sentiment is so old. Really different style sculpture for 1959. He’s long and willowy but he’s such a schulb the way his clothes are pulled down. And then there’s those big hips. He looks very distressed his romance ended.
