Oh, how I love Kliban cats! These are goodies I had stashed away in my hope chest for when I married and had my own home. The ten year old me must’ve thought that I’d need decorative holiday towels and would enjoy paper cat ornaments on my tree. Hee- the ten year old me was right! I love these just as much at age 42 as I did at age ten. They’ll definitely have to go out for the holidays next year-no more hiding away in the hope chest.

I didn’t get into those cats but I certainly enjoy seeing collections of them.

Well, it’s certainly okay that you didn’t get into them- goodness knows you have many, many other interests.
These cats appealed to me at that critical point in a girls life- that time when you’re still kinda into dolls yet you want to be taken seriously and as an adult- The gnomes (I still have my demin covered Gnome Gnotebook) and Kliban cats were childlike enough to be appealto me yet adult enough to be accepted by ‘real adults.’
They were boards in my bridge to adulthood.

The eyes on the blue cat are hysterical.

I like Kliban cats, too. My parents had Kliban Cat bedsheets when I was a kid.
