Blue Plastic, just like yours…(https://www.awmok.com/2010/08/10/allee-willis-kitsch-o-the-day-%E2%80%93-vintage-plastic-peanut-purse/). I had a few of them maybe one in a bright chromium yellow,
or green. There was a source for them and they were new stock at the time.

    I got my peanut purse as a gift. I had always assumed it was made in the 80’s but now that I see yours here in this photo from 1976 I’m heartened to see that it’s older.

    Is yours only attached for a few inches at the bottom so that once you open it everything inside spills out?

    I absolutely love that photo of you guys. Looks like it was taken in the 1930s.
