This 20″ tall ceramic vase looks like a birth defect. I immediately fell in love with it. I was told it (or one just like it) was seen in a photograph of JFK’s office.

I understand what you mean about the birth defect but on the other hand it’s gorgeous. Is there any manufacturer’s mark on the bottom? Is it Italian?

There is a faint signature inscribed in the clay on the bottom that appears as “Eller.”
