A two in one surprise purchase today. I never remember bubble gun cigars being displayed in their own “cigar” boxes. The contents are equally facinating. A full box of “Red Head” oil and gas catalog coupons dated 1949 to 1956. It appears these certificates were given out with the purchase of gas and oil and used as tender for items in their catalog. If anyone know more, please post.

I absolutely love cigar boxes and I absolutely love bubblegum cigars. I also absolutely love old kind of ephemera like this. To find a box full of these coupons is thrilling! I would have been ecstatic with this find. And I love that the name of the cigars is El Bubble.

The artwork on the box is really kinda wonderful, isn’t it? Blows Big Bubbles!
