If it’s orange and vintage and functional, I’ll probably buy it. Four bowls nest in this outer popcorn bowl. Notice how the lid is smooth and the bowls have a woodgrain pattern. Nothing like contrasting texture in kitschware.

Wonderful snack bowls! Nothing brightens ones day like orange does.

Absolutely gorgeous set.
I never ever liked orange as a kid but in my later years it’s without question my favorite color, on even ground with my perennial favorite, pink. And when it comes to housewares there was no more gorgeous period for orange than the 1960’s and 70’s.
In general, I’ve always loved the Halloween combo of orange and black. I wish it weren’t so associated with the holiday as I’d wear it much more often. But I have problems enough with people thinking I’m in costume all the time!
Of course the pointy top seals the deal.

Michael, this is an incredible set for sure! I used to have several different sets til it got out of hand.

@Lisa – Thx Lisa! Orange definitely is a happy color.
@Allee – Thx Allee! I want to wear orange together with you. (I however, don’t love it combined with black so much.)
@denny – Thx denny! One set is enough for me though.
@windupkitty – Thx windupkitty! Yeah, I love how the pointy lid morphs out of the smooth, curvilinear surface too. The table is actually a translucent resin material I used as a countertop in my kitchen.
