A small tote bag, only 6″ x 9″ stopped me in my tracks. I would have expected coconuts and not bananas. To compliment a recent post of the banana keeper on a rope.

Is this vintage or newer? And is it fabric or fabric covered with plastic or is the print actually on the plastic? One way or another it’s adorable, nice and compact. I stick a lot of small bags like this inside one larger bag so I know where to reach what I’m looking for a certain item. Much easier to pull out one small identifiable bag then to rifle through the 10 pounds of junk I carry around every day in one heap.

It had a velcro closure so it can’t be 50’s. I’m guessing it was a souvenir perhaps. I really can’t recall if it’s printed plastic or plastic over fabric. Love the design. Mini bags in one larger tote is the way to go.
