This is an early 1950’s collection of four 78 r.p.m. records instructing parents on how to talk to their young children about matters of sex, “dramatized with reverent frankness and spiritual beauty.” Think the inside of the front cover explains best –

“Nowdays, when promiscuity and sex perversion in many replusive forms are beginning to spread at an alarming rate in our country, there is a definite need for the modern parent to exercise special care in properly instructing the child in matters of sex. These recordings emphasize the wonderful role parents play in Almighty God’s plan to reproduce the human race.”

The records deal with how babies are born, menstruation, the marriage union, and my favorite, “problems of growing boys.” In “problems of growing boys,” the father tells his young son that when he gets “that feeling,” he should take a cold shower or think about the upcoming baseball game. He explains that touching oneself in an inappropriate way is a perversion and a sin.
