This burnishing technique was a very big deal in the 60’s and 70’s especially. It always looked too medical for me, like cells under a microscope, so I never collected them but I love them as I look at them now.

I haven’t seem them around in awhile. Use to be more common and less expensive too. The free form modern designs came easy for the artist.
