    Maybe because I live in California seeing freaky coconut heads isn’t out of the ordinary at all. I like them a little more weatherworn than this but I’ve never seen a coconut head I’ve turned down. Well, maybe, sometimes when they take religious turns, but otherwise if I spot them they join the rest of their breed hanging from the 31 palm trees around my house.

    Pirates are very popular in the coconut head genre. They usually have a bandanna wrapped around their heads and look like Bret Michaels but I like this little yarmulke approach too.

    Ever since I’ve seen these being posted here, I’ve wanted to try carving one of my own, hehe.
