Lawn Sprinkler Lamp

This is a one-of-a-kind lamp made from found art (created by a local Tucson artist named Lane Patterson). The base consists of two old vintage lawn sprinklers welded together, the tin shade is made from an old watering can, and the finial on top is a hose nozzle! I adore this lamp. Whenever I look at it, it reminds me of past summers from long ago, hot summer days when we kids would run thru the lawn spriklers to cool off.

The nozzle at the top is killing me. The only thing that would’ve made it better is an Astroturf shade. Although the tin shade is good. I just wish it could have held more of the original watering can shape. But I don’t mean to complain about this at all as it’s fantastic.

Vintage sprinklers are absolutely gorgeous. They all look like sculptures to me anyway so it’s no surprise that art (with functionality) was made from them.

Great observation. I am very much into steampunk. Have other similar lamps with the same feel, made from old machinery parts, lamps that look like they were made by mad scientists.
