Resin grapes are the gold standard of vintage fruit. I pick them up whenever I see them at a decent price. This is a funny little lump of them. Ideally there are at least 10 grapes on them but always good to have no matter how stingy on the fruit.
My grandmother had a much larger set of these resin grapes; golden, I think I recall. Usually, they sat on the coffee table as a centerpiece. Sometimes, they were placed out of the way on the buffet.

I have every color of the rainbow or should I say of the grapevine. Here are my favorites and they’re only sitting a few feet away from me as I write this now: https://www.alleewillis.com/blog/2009/04/07/allee-willis-kitsch-o-the-day-resin-grapes-good-enough-to-eat/
