How big is this sign? From the looks of the photo I’m thinking maybe you took a visit to that neon sign graveyard in or around Las Vegas that I’ve always died to go to. More info please if you have it.
I’m guessing approx 5″ tall. It was at the Neon Museum Las Vegas and we were not allowed to get close to the signs. It was unclear (to me) if it was a former laundromat or dry cleaners but, in any case, this dancing shirt made me happy, too!
In the background is part of the Stardust mushroom cloud.
I have more pix on facebook, too.
This shirt is a very popular subject for photographers, I’ve seen it posted a lot over on Flickr. I hope I can see it in person some day, maybe lit up! Here’s a picture (not mine) of somebody standing next to it, if you want to get a sense of scale: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheddarmelt/1387090092/
For those that are interested there’s another very good sign museum in Cincinnati.
