    This is the most complete list of Beatnik phraseology I’ve yet to see. I’m pretty familiar with Beatnik jive as I have so many Beatnik pieces of memorabilia and they usually have a phrase or two written on them. However, I must say that certain terms like ‘goony roost’ and ‘squatchel’ have escaped my eyeballs until now. I’d kill to know the age of the person who compiled this list.’ Perhaps they were a little ‘murgatroid’.
