These are mini comic books given free in cereal boxes sometime in the 50s or 60s. Last year, a neighbor was doing a cleaning blitz and threw out a box filled with amazing vintage collectibles and was thrilled to know it would not end in the trash.

I never saw these mini comic books before so this is quite a find! Do you have any idea what brand of cereal they were in?
I’d kill to see the inside of Bugs Bunny Fights the Man from Mars. Artists interpretations of Martians in those years were stellar.

It was Quaker Puff wheat cereal. I see if I have pics of the pages. Part of the haul was also Mighty Mouse, same format! Who saved this stuff back then? No one ever said, hold it for 50 years and sell it on the internet! Enjoy!

These were snapped a while back. I’ll shoot the inside pages in the near future.

I love Bugs Bunny! ANY rabbit that dresses up like Carmen Miranda and prances around with is hand on his hip is okay by me! I too am often rescuing things from the trash and I believe get some of my best things that way!
