WOW-EEE! Now these are the kind of gardens I die for! And the fact that there’s a strip of Astroturf rolled down the middle to make more room for all the little animals for the gnomes to enjoy kills me even more.

I love that the gnomes each have their own tree stump. Do you know if the stumps are real or fake?

Thank you, Wendy, for posting these after you saw Shirlie’s inspired pixie post at https://www.alleewillis.com/awmok/kitschenette/2010/02/18/a-pixie-one-of-many-in-a-pixie-garden-in-devon-uk/. Shirlie’s post says Devon and yours says Cornwall. I don’t know enough about the UK to know if these are close to each other or different names for the same place. Please clarify exactly location because whenever I get to England next I’m going to see this for sure!

Also looks like there’s some crazy latticework all over the house.

And I love seeing the crazy gnome that Shirley posted in context in your longshot, back row, second from the right.

It is Mevagissey in Cornwall, South West England. Mum will edit her naked gnome lady post as she has just realised it is Cornwall not Devon!!

I think that the stumps were fake. And it is Shirlie (my Mum) at the end of the Astroturf, most likey trying to roll it up to bring it home!! The scary thing is that I remember my Nan had animals very similar in her garden when I was growing up!

Mum said you will have to come and visit us and we will take a trip down!

Love that Shirlie is your Mum! Does that mean you have as great an eye for Kitsch as she does? I hope so as this garden made my day!!

I’d be trying to roll up that carpet too!

Sadly my eye is not as keenly trained as my Mum’s, but I have had several years of kitsch training from mother kitsch so may well get there one day!

I am glad that the picture brightened your day!

This is so cool. Are those items all for sale, or is is someone’s personal garden that they allow people to visit? What a treasure trove either way!
