What was this art director thinking??? Draw your own conclusion. What’s with the hands? The leopard print suit? Isn’t that a headboard behind him? This is priceless! Nice to know he out grew this phase.

A photo I’m sure Rod would like to forget.

Although I myself wore a similar Dalmatian suit when I won a Grammy in 1986 (Best Soundtrack for Beverly Hills Cop with “Neutron Dance” and “Stir It up”) I didn’t complement it with suggestive hand gestures and only one side of my hair was that raggy.

That looks like a mighty traditional bed behind Rod for the activities I assume went on atop it.

I bet you Rod Stewart loved this photograph.

Rod is sitting on a bed and he is touching himself. God, I love Rod Stewart. This is a great post! Do you own this mag?

Not anymore. A friend collected Rolling Stone, Billboard & other music mags for years. I sold some of them on her behalf a year or two ago, but always kept the pics. I love this cover shot too!
On second thought Allee, you’re right this is great art.
