    Please tell me that’s actually a pen. And if so, I want to be friends with your friend who gave it to you for Christmas so maybe next Hanukkah I might find one under the matzoh.

    It is a pen! The women who gave it to me, owns a “trendy” little clothing store in the town where I grew up. When I was a 15 year old , I was obsessed with Debbie Harry. Peggy, who owns the store(and who gave me this pen) could have been her twin, About a year ago I stopped in that store again. Haven’t set foot in that store since I was 15. I would often go in and see Peggy and her husband, it was a little haven for all of us lost teen souls. As it turns out, she still remembered me and we hooked up on Face Book and even saw each for a pizza night the last time I was there. She was an important part of my youth and it still slays me that she has some of the little Debbie Harry things I drew and gave her when I was 15! She brought that stuff out when I was there and we both cried like fools! She’s an amazing woman!

    I still am very much into Debbie’s work! Love her interpretation of “Ghost Riders In The Sky” and just swoon when she sings “Prelude To A Kiss”.
