    Could the little finger puppet people be any more dwarfed by that cross?!

    Looks like someone in this group took sewing class and used this album cover to show off their skills. The women look like they’re on their way to a Hootenanny and probably used their dresses as comforters once this photo session was done. I love how precisely the pleat is nailed into the mens’ banana suits and how one-size-too-large their jackets are. Either a pound of starch was used to iron them or the polyester was so cheap it could stand up and walk on its own.

    I also wonder what the centerpiece woman is looking at as everyone else’s eyes are peeled at the camera but hers seemed to be drifting to the paper cups of wine and Sara Lee brownies that’s waiting for them once the shoot is done.

    I guess they didn’t really mean to distract us by their amazing ensembles, so they made the cross big to keep the listener focused. I think the men’s hems are done with tape and Marian Estep is making sure they get her good side.
