This white bathroom plunger has rice in its handle, and bride and groom figures on the top. The rubber is white, which automatically makes it appropriate for a wedding. When my husband and I got married a couple of years ago, we decided to commemorate the event in a unique and tacky way. After the toasts at the reception, we pulled this tacky treasure out of the box, and said in unison, “We took the plunge!”

Well, you know, in the land of Kitsch nothing is more romantic than a toilet plunger.
I love that that little “We took the plunge” tag is attached at the bottom so it can get nice and soggy and fungus filled when it’s submerged. The little gold or are they brass metal things at each end of the rice handle add an extra touch of elegance. I also love how the bride is fully balanced on top of the pole but the groom is left hanging.
