A bottle of that great 80s shampoo with the name that says it all, “Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific” Strangely, I always assumed there was an exclamation point at the end, but maybe it’s not that terrific?

Easily one of my favorite product names ever! Could the people who named this not have ordered a pizza, sat around the table a half an hour longer and gone a little bit farther in their thinking?! It always astounds me as a writer when I see stuff like this. You sit there and think ‘Gee, I’m really in the mood to write a sad song’ so you title the song ‘Gee, I’m Really In The Mood To Write A Sad Song’… Like mud sticking to the wall.
I’m pretty sure this was a ’70s hair care product though and not ’80s. Jergens sold it some time ago but it’s still manufactured in the Philippines so if you want your hair to smell like a lawn for a week you can probably order it online right now.
