Believe it or not, a Jim Beam liquor decanter was used as Jeannie’s bottle in early “I Dream of Jeannie” episodes in the ’60’s. When the show went color, they switched to a more colorful ceramic version and painted designs on it. I left them off mine. I don’t know why it’s purple, but I bet AW will appreciate this. I wish I could get it to shoot out pink smoke.

I love that a Jim Beam liquor decanter was used as Jeannie’s bottle in the early episodes. I always heard there were few people snookered on that set.

I do like the bottle better in purple but I’m on such purple overload as anytime anyone’s given me anything since my show, The Color Purple, opened on Broadway it’s been purple. I’ve grown to love the color, of course, but pink is still nearest and dearest to my heart.

    How tall are these bottles?

They’re about 14 inches tall corked, a foot uncorked. They were all over eBay, and probably still are. I’ll bet the guy playing Dr. Bellows was one of the ones always snookered.
