Presented to Allee Willis on September 14, 2009 at Ghettogloss gallery upon the launch of The Allee Willis Museum of Kitsch, this is my “Jellybean Allee.”
While I’m proud that my “Jellybean Elvis” once hung at Graceland (see post below), it’s just as cool that “Jellybean Allee” now hangs at Willis Wonderland…
Pictured below at Ghettogloss with “Jellybean Allee” is Allee herself, along with KNBC Channel 4 News reporter Cary Berglund (also featuring Jason Mecier’s great “Allee Is Kitsch” junk sculpture in the background).

Needless to say, I award this one a Certifikitsch Of AuthenKitschity! Not only does it look like me and commemorate a very special time of my life but it smells good too!
Love seeing the process photos, especially the TV remote laying on a pillow in the bottom photo. Would love to see photos of every color as it went down if you happen to have documentation.

One of my favorite works of a is by Mike Kelly of yarn sewn dolls all sewn together into a big tapestry titled “More love hours than can ever be re-paid”. This has lots of love hours. Nice work

I am seeing Allee in a whole new light. Thank God I am learning not to say everything I think:D

I love this so much! Seeing the process of it being made is the best.
