Vintage McDonalds fast food containers

A nice little tower of the old styrofoam containers from the McDonalds fast food restaurant. Most of them are from the mid 80s, but the pink Big Mac one is from the 70s. My favorite is the McDLT container though since the actual sandwich died along with it.

Now, I praise anyone who collects anything this obscure. They’re all in perfect shape and it’s great to see how McDonald’s used the color palette through the years. Though I can’t say that the McRib ever did anything for me and maybe it’s because of that dull beige packaging. I love how the oldest one, the pink Big Mac box from the 70s, was before they realized that sticking their name on a box 25 times would help brand the product.
