Well, it was inevitable someone would stumble across this, the ad for my very first and only released LP, “Childstar”. This came out in 1974 and these are literally the first 10 songs I ever wrote. I still think a couple of them are among my best.

I lost my record deal a few months after this LP was released but it was a blessing in disguise as at that point I really hated touring and it made me concentrate on songwriting which obviously paid off pretty well. I try to buy every copy of “Childstar” whenever I see them popping up on eBay but I’m happily outbid most of the time.

I would love to hear this now that I have gotten to know you thru here. I saw 2 listed on the “buy it now” option on Ebay. Is that a tiny green lady standing there helping you do the dishes!?

All the images on the cover and is had some special significance to me growing up. The little green lady sucking on a lollipop but not doing the dishes is Fanny Brice.

I don’t have any made but could get it together. Won’t have the album art, notes and lyrics though. But lemme know if you can’t find one on Ebay. They show up suprisingly often (for how few were made!).
